# Room and location setup foundations

This is a source-stage update, not a release or Nailtech handover announcement.

Room setup now has a shared validation path for web and future Business screens.
A room must belong to a location in the same venue. If several locations exist,
the venue admin chooses one. Existing future-class capacity handling remains
intact; a room saved with a failed secondary capacity update is reported as such.

The location image API verifies uploads before attaching them. Gallery conflicts
and full galleries are explicit, instead of silently losing an image. Invalid
opening hours are refused before saving. These foundations work for class,
appointment-only, hybrid and neutral venues; they do not grant booking or billing
authority to a generic staff label.

Remaining work includes native resource editors, interrupted-upload recovery and
the new room upload control. Existing URL inputs have not all been replaced.
Native custom terminology is a separate gap. No Nailtech settings, client messages,
hosted data, published sites or application releases were changed by this stage.
