Handle a client’s billing and refunds from the Business app
A client’s Billing tab in the Business app now matches the web client page — saved cards, charging a card, pending fees, failed payments, refund recovery links, product subscriptions, and a filterable payment history.
A client's record in the Business app gained a full Billing tab, matching what staff already do on the web client page. Saved cards: staff can see a client's saved cards, charge one for an ad-hoc amount (a phone payment, a materials fee), set or clear the default card, and remove a card. Charging shows the venue's currency and VAT, and staff pick which accounting category the sale belongs to. Pending fees: late-cancellation and no-show fees a client hasn't paid yet now show on their record, newest first. Staff can collect one from the card on file, record it as collected another way (cash, bank transfer, MobilePay, a card terminal), or waive it with an optional note. Failed payments now show on the client's own record, not only the venue-wide list. Staff pick which saved card to retry with, record the payment as collected outside the app, or waive it — the same choices as the web. When a refund went out that should not have, staff can mint a one-time link the client uses to pay it back. Nothing is sent automatically — staff copy the link and share it themselves, exactly as on the web. Recurring product subscriptions — lockers, equipment rentals and similar — now show on a client's Billing tab, with the same cancel choice as the web: stop at the end of the paid period, or end it right away. Payment history can now be narrowed by status and by date range, and the totals shown match the filtered range exactly rather than a rough estimate from the most recent rows. None of these actions contact the client automatically. Staff who want to tell someone about a charge send a receipt afterwards as a separate, explicit step. Cancelling a refund that is still pending stays a web-only action for now — it requires the two-factor check the Business app cannot yet perform, so staff are pointed to the web admin for that one case.
See a client’s whole visit history in the Business app
A client’s record in the Business app now shows every visit — coming up and already been — with filters by date, class, teacher, location and brand, a summary of how often they turn up, and the same actions the web page offers on each row.
