Clearer tax setup and end-of-day reconciliation
Appointment payments keep their prepared tax values, and end-of-day reconciliation distinguishes original tender amounts, recorded refunds and unverified methods.
New single-appointment payments keep the tax values prepared before collection. Retrying or completing that payment uses the same values after tax settings change. Incomplete tax setup must be resolved before a new payment can start. Tax settings now show when VAT registration has not been configured. Choose registered or not registered explicitly before saving. Entering a VAT number alone does not select a registration status. The register compares online payments with the amount collected by that method. For example, a sale paid with 30 venue credit and 70 card checks the 70 card amount. Successful recorded cash refunds reduce the cash amount expected for their ledger date. A pending or unclear refund remains visible for review. An unverified payment method no longer makes the day appear balanced. This includes manual terminals and venue credit where independent verification is unavailable. Keep using your external register for fiscal receipts and reports. Refunds in this view follow their ledger creation date; cash movements and fiscal day-close evidence still need to be reconciled in the appropriate accounting/register records. Tax profiles follow the venue's configured country independently of its currency. An unset country no longer selects a default country's tax profile. The daily register summary uses midnight-to-midnight in the venue's timezone, including daylight-saving changes. Historical POS receipts keep the sale's stored currency when the venue later changes currency, and show its ISO currency code. Consumer and Branded appointment booking shows the currency supplied by the venue's service or current quote. Missing currency is shown as unavailable and must be resolved before a new booking; an existing prepared payment remains recoverable.
Ring up several items as one sale in the Business app
The Business app register keeps a basket of several products, bundles and services with quantities, shows the verified total with VAT, and takes one payment for all of it.
