Refund receipts show the recorded destination

Completed refund receipts list the actual return method; gift-card cancellation and cash refund notices now describe separate events.

# Refund receipts show the recorded destination

Refund PDFs, emails, POS printouts and payment timelines use each completed
refund's recorded return method. A refund to account credit, cash, bank transfer
or a gift card is labelled as that method, even when the original purchase was
paid by card. Split refunds list each completed part separately. A refund
receipt becomes available only after the complete operation succeeds.
Cash is labelled as cash without assuming where it was handed over. A refund
document waits for the venue's recorded merchant identity rather than printing
a generic studio name.
The Business app uses the platform's receipt-availability flag, so pending and
legacy non-claim refund rows do not offer a PDF action. Apple remains merchant
of record for App Store purchases and issues those refund documents itself.

Cancelling a gift card does not return money. The staff cancellation action
starts with **Email buyer** off; selecting it sends a notice that the card was
cancelled and no money was refunded. A successful processor refund of a
gift-card purchase instead creates a separate buyer document for the exact
amount returned. The buyer document uses the purchase's recorded recipient and
the refund's recorded currency. Older and provider-only gift-card refunds are
held for review rather than emailed by this change.
If a gift card's currency is missing or disagrees with its original payment
record, staff are directed to Finance review before any new refund is claimed.
The platform currency is never substituted for that purchase.

These rules use shared BookingBible paths and each venue's own organization
scope, notification settings and transaction facts. Previously sent documents
are unchanged.

Course and session emails follow their assigned brand

Booking confirmations, guest invitations, waitlist updates, class reminders, cancellation and restore notices, roster messages, and course enrollment updates now use the brand assigned to the booking, session, or linked course. The same sender selection applies to immediate messages and background delivery.
