Staff product benefits now actually come off the price at check-in

A staff member entitled to a free or discounted product was charged the full shelf price at the check-in register while their allowance was still counted as used. The benefit now comes off the price, and an allowance is only ever spent when the discount really applied.

If you give a staff member a free or discounted product as part of their benefits, the check-in register was not honouring it. The sale showed and charged the **full shelf price**, and the redemption was still recorded against their allowance — so they paid full price *and* used up the benefit for that visit or month.

This is fixed. The benefit is now worked out inside the sale itself, from your own catalogue price, so the amount charged, the receipt, the sales report and the redemption record all agree on one number.

Two things follow from that:

- **An allowance is only spent when the discount actually applied.** If the benefit cannot be given — the monthly cap is already used up, the visit already had its free item, or the product isn't the one the benefit names — the item simply rings up at the normal price and nothing is deducted from their allowance.
- **Cases the benefit deliberately does not cover** are charged in full rather than quietly half-applied: subscription products (those are billed on their own schedule), a line rung up with more than one unit, and a product that already has a course perk on it.

Nothing changes for ordinary client sales, and nothing changes for a staff member who has no product benefit configured.

**Worth checking:** any staff product benefit redeemed at the check-in register before this fix was charged at full price. If you want to make those right, your redemption records list every one of them along with what was charged.
