Rebuilding your website draft no longer touches your live site

Generating or regenerating a website draft now keeps every published page, its translations and its addresses exactly as they are until you publish.

Starting a new website build (from the setup steps, a design direction, or the automatic fallback when the AI build cannot finish) used to replace every page of the site behind the scenes. On a site that was already published, that could remove live pages before you had pressed Publish. It cannot happen any more.

A rebuild now updates your draft in place. Pages keep their identity, addresses, published content and translations; new pages from the build are added as drafts; only unpublished leftovers from an earlier build are removed. Nothing changes on your public website until you publish.

If a build would have to remove or change a page that is currently live, the build stops before changing anything and tells you which pages are affected. Keep those pages selected in the build, or change them one at a time in the builder, then build again.

The recurring-series editor now shows when a class has a different time and lets staff choose which time to keep.
