AI spend is measured against the correct rates now

Our record of what an AI request costs was based on two out-of-date provider prices. Both are corrected, so your AI usage figures and any spend limit you have set are measured accurately.

Booking Bible keeps its own record of what each AI request costs, and that
record is what your AI usage figures and any daily spend limit are measured
against.

Two of the underlying provider prices had gone out of date. One was a price
increase that was announced and then cancelled — we had already written the
higher price into the record. The other was a rate for the most capable model
that was roughly three times what it actually costs.

Both are corrected, checked against the provider's published prices on
6 September 2026. In practice that means:

- Your recorded AI spend is lower than it appeared, because it was over-stated,
  not because anything about your usage changed.
- If you have set a daily AI spend limit, it now measures real cost, so you get
  the amount of use you actually paid for rather than hitting the limit early.
- Nothing was billed at the wrong price. These figures are our internal cost
  record and your usage measurement; they are not what appears on your invoice.

We have also removed the duplicate copies of those prices that had drifted
apart, so there is now one place they are kept and one place they are updated.
