Built for appointment-only businesses
Nail salons and other appointment-first businesses get their own signup path, a tuned day-one setup, and settings without class-studio noise.
Booking Bible now treats appointment-only businesses as first-class. Nail salons and massage clinics appear in the signup wizard's venue types, and a new nail salon starts with the right setup on day one: appointment booking, walk-in queue, point of sale, treatment notes and technician portfolios on, class features off, plus a realistic starter menu of services and stations in your own language — appointments, technicians, stations and packages instead of classes, instructors and rooms. If your venue runs appointments only, your Settings home no longer shows class booking rules, class types, course types or streaming — the Appointment settings card covers your rules instead. Class and hybrid venues see no change. Solo professionals on the Free plan get a real public booking page, so clients can book you online from day one. The Free plan covers one provider, five services and twenty-five appointments per week — when you outgrow it, the new appointment tier is ready. Working with freelance technicians got simpler too: a collaboration can now carry one base appointment rate (for example a percentage of everything they deliver) instead of a rate per service, dated rate periods apply to appointments exactly as they do to classes, and your check-in page shows appointments assigned to you at partner venues. Appointment reminder emails also stopped repeating — each reminder now sends exactly once, and venues that turned reminders off are respected.
You choose when clients are notified
Staff actions on a client account no longer email automatically — every action asks which channels to use, and nothing sends unless you choose.
