# Card update requests show their actual sending result

The card-expiry report's Send reminder action verifies that the client is active
in your venue and that you have permission to contact clients and send
notifications. Card badges require permission to view the client's profile.

The action reports Sent only when the email service accepts the message. A
suppressed, skipped or failed attempt does not show as a successful reminder.
If delivery cannot be confirmed, check notification history before sending
again. The Last reminder column shows successful sending records for your venue.

The existing explicit Send reminder action still chooses email. It does not
turn on automatic reminders or resend earlier messages.
