Set your own "recently joined" rule, and flag passes about to run out

The check-in "New member" flag is now called **Recently joined**, and you decide the rule: how many days after signup, and how many visits, still count. Set it under Settings → Client list & flags. It defaults to the same rule as before (30 days, under 5 visits), so nothing changes until you adjust it.

# Set your own "recently joined" rule, and flag passes about to run out

The check-in "New member" flag is now called **Recently joined**, and you decide the rule: how many days after signup, and how many visits, still count. Set it under Settings → Client list & flags. It defaults to the same rule as before (30 days, under 5 visits), so nothing changes until you adjust it.

You can also turn on an **Expiring** flag for clients whose class pack or one-time pass is about to run out — either because it's ending soon or because only a few clips are left. It's off by default; turn it on and set your own thresholds (days before the end date, clips remaining) on the same settings page. When on, a client card shows a plain-language reason — "ends 5 Oct" or "2 clips left" — so staff know exactly why. Subscriptions and auto-renewing memberships are never flagged, since they don't run out on their own.

Staff adjusting a pass that has not started yet — one that activates on the client's first visit — can now set how long it stays valid once it starts (for example, "3 months from first visit"), instead of being asked for exact dates that don't exist yet. Passes purchased through a flexible pricing option keep the length that was already agreed at purchase and can't be changed here.

Promotions gain a "Waive a membership's registration fee" benefit. A batch of single-use codes can each waive the joining fee on a membership, including a Flexible membership at any class allowance and with add-ons, while the membership itself is billed at its normal price.
