Set VAT included or on top for products and services, not just passes
Products and services can now use the same "VAT included in the price" or "VAT added on top" choice that passes already had — plus a fix for a bug where product sales at the register always taxed at the retail rate, even when the product's own VAT category was different.
Passes have long let you choose, per purchaser type, whether the listed price already includes VAT or whether VAT is added on top when someone buys. Products and services can now do the same. When you edit a product or service, you'll see the familiar "VAT Category" choice, and — if you turn it on — a "Set VAT by purchaser type" section where you can set individuals and companies differently: exempt, standard rate, or a custom rate, each either included in the price or added on top. This is entirely optional; leave it off and nothing changes. **Also fixed:** product sales at the register were always taxed at the standard retail rate, even for products you'd filed under a different VAT category (for example healthcare or an exempt category). Register sales now use each product's own category, the same way service sales already did. **Worth checking:** if you sell products under a VAT category other than Retail, register sale totals for those products will now be correct rather than taxed at the retail rate. If that difference matters for past sales, your sales reports show the category each product was sold under.
A proper booking form for private sessions
Booking a private session now asks who it's for, who to invoice, where it happens and what you agreed — and you can change all of it afterwards.
