Choose whether to email a room renter

Confirming, marking a pending rental paid, or cancelling a rental starts without a notification. Choose Email when you want to tell the renter.

# Choose whether to email a room renter

On the web rental page, confirming a rental, marking a pending rental paid, or
cancelling it now offers a **Notify renter by** choice. It starts with no
notification selected. Choose **Email** to request the existing confirmation or
cancellation email; otherwise the rental changes without contacting the renter.

If Email is unavailable, the picker explains why. SMS and Push are unavailable
for these rental notices. Creating a pending rental remains silent. Your
existing room-rental access and delivery preferences still apply.
