Who sold it and how it was paid are now shown separately
A membership sold at the front desk with a later start date now shows the team member who sold it, even though its first payment was charged automatically on the start date.
When a team member sells a membership or pass at the front desk with a start date in the future, nobody takes money that day. The first payment is charged automatically on the start date, from the client's saved card. Until now, Today's sales and the client's Passes & access card treated that automatic charge as the sale and showed "Client online", even though your team member made the sale. Now the sale and the payment are shown as two separate facts: - **Who made the sale, and when**: the team member at the desk, the client online, an import from another system, or a course or workshop enrolment. - **When the pass starts**, when that isn't on the day of the sale: for example "Activated automatically on 23/09/2026" (dates use your venue's date format). - **How the payment was collected**: at the desk, online by the client, charged automatically when the pass started, a renewal, an invoice, or no charge. A Today's sales row for the example above now reads: "Sold by Anna Berg (staff) at the desk on 17/09/2026 · Activated automatically on 23/09/2026 · First payment charged automatically on 23/09/2026 · Visa •••• 3607". Opening the row shows the sale, the start and this payment on separate lines. Every new pass now records how it came to exist, not only sales: a pass transferred from another client shows "Transferred from 10-Class Card", and passes from a gift, a promotion code, a milestone free class or a course enrolment each say so. Earlier passes are updated too, wherever your records show how they came to exist. That includes front-desk sales, point-of-sale sales, passes a team member assigned, online purchases, gift redemptions, transfers, imported passes and course passes. If an old pass's origin was never recorded, it says "Sale origin not recorded" instead of guessing "Client online". You don't need to do anything. Payments, receipts and prices stay the same.
Pass extensions follow one rule, and logged client calls now save
Extending a pass — from the client's pass, the client list or the AI assistant — now follows one rule. It stops at the pass type's hard end date, never uses up the client's own self-extensions, and tells you when a pass cannot be extended. Logging a call, email or meeting with a client now saves, and the client's Activity tab shows more of what staff did.
