Settings start where the work happens

**Settings now start beside the work they change.** Open Gym visit controls now belong in **Check-in → Check-in settings**, rather than being buried in the venue-wide Settings area. Existing bookmarks to the old Open Gym settings address still take you to the new, exact control.

**Settings now start beside the work they change.**
Open Gym visit controls now belong in **Check-in → Check-in settings**, rather
than being buried in the venue-wide Settings area. Existing bookmarks to the
old Open Gym settings address still take you to the new, exact control.

Open Gym installation and day-to-day operation are also clearer. Your plan or
capability grant decides whether Open Gym is included. The Check-in setting
decides whether the venue is accepting new visits right now. Pausing new visits
does not strand somebody who is already checked in: staff can still see and
check out existing visits, and overdue-session cleanup continues.

If Open Gym is unavailable, the page explains why and links to the relevant
feature or plan control. Saving reports a real problem instead of claiming
success, and changes from an older browser tab no longer overwrite unrelated
Open Gym choices made elsewhere.

**Appointment settings show only the genuinely venue-wide start-time
interval.** Booking windows, minimum notice, buffers, duration, price, rooms,
and online availability remain on each Service, where those rules take effect.
Class venues already using the included basic appointment tools can follow the
same link to Services. Staff who may view Appointment settings but cannot
manage bookings are told to ask an administrator instead of being sent to a
control they cannot change.

Appointment and Check-in settings now have their own focused search. A result
opens the exact available control, brings it into view, and highlights it
briefly. Search works with the keyboard and only receives settings the current
venue and staff member may discover.

When Studio Manager is available, **Ask Studio Manager** can turn the words in
the search box into a contextual draft. It opens the assistant with the draft
ready for review; it never sends the question automatically. If the assistant
is still loading or is not included for the venue, the page says so instead of
silently doing nothing.

Exact settings links are also kept through sign-in, password setup, and MFA, so
opening a bookmarked control no longer drops the administrator at a broad
landing page after authentication.

No saved Open Gym visits or settings were deleted.

Appointment settings now live with Appointments

**Appointment settings are now where you use Appointments.** Open **Appointments → Appointment settings** to choose how frequently available appointment start times appear to clients.
