Stripe connected-account labels now self-heal automatically
A new daily job re-checks every venue's Stripe connected account for charges that missed getting labelled with the client's name and product (e.g. from a transient Stripe error or a redeploy at the wrong moment), and labels them automatically within a couple of days. This is fully automatic — no venue or staff action is needed.
Since the connected-account labelling feature shipped, a charge's client name, product and channel are written onto the venue's Stripe objects as soon as the charge succeeds. That live labelling can occasionally miss a charge — a transient Stripe error, a platform redeploy at exactly the wrong moment, or a brief window while Stripe API calls were paused for reliability. Previously, catching those up required an operator to run a manual backfill script. A new daily background job now re-checks every venue's connected account for any charge from the last two days that is still missing its label, and applies it automatically — no venue or staff action needed, and nothing is ever changed for a charge that is already labelled. This is the same, already-reviewed labelling logic the live path uses, just re-run automatically as a safety net.

The automatic platform re-engagement email — the daily "We miss you" nudge the platform itself sent to inactive members — has been permanently disabled. It bypassed marketing consent, notification preferences, quiet hours and frequency caps by design, which does not meet current consent requirements. Venues that want to re-engage inactive clients should use their own campaign/marketing send, or th
