No-show and late-cancellation fees follow each venue’s settings
No-show and late-cancellation fees, including whether one is charged and how much, come from the venue’s cancellation settings (and a location override when set). Unconfigured venues are not billed a platform default.
The amount charged for a no-show or late cancellation is the amount the venue set: org booking rules, optional location overrides, and the pass-type cancellation matrix. If a venue has not set a fee, nothing is charged. The same settings drive the amount shown before a member cancels, in receipts, and in the public booking rules the apps read.
Unpaid no-show and late-cancellation fees stay on the client
When a card charge for a no-show or late cancellation fails, the fee remains as a visible amount the client owes, with the class details, automatic retries, and admin tools to charge the card, record another payment, or waive it.
