Waiving or settling a failed renewal completes again
Waiving a failed membership payment, or recording it as paid another way, now updates the payment straight away instead of leaving it marked as failed.
# Waiving or settling a failed renewal completes again When you waived a failed membership payment, or recorded that the client paid another way (cash, bank transfer, MobilePay or an external card terminal), the payment could stay marked as **failed** even though Booking Bible had closed it in Stripe. It was also flagged in error as "A cancelled membership was charged". Both are fixed. A waived payment now shows as **comped** with no charge and no fee, and a payment you recorded as settled shows the method you chose. If the card was in fact charged around the same time, the card payment is recorded instead and Booking Bible's team is alerted, rather than real money being marked as waived. A real charge on a cancelled membership is still flagged. Some payments that got stuck this way complete on their own once this update is live. If one still shows as failed, open the client's payment and choose **Waive** or **Settle** again with **Don't notify**: the client was already told the first time, and this now finishes the update.
