Welcome to Booking Bible
Your new booking platform is live — here is what to expect and where to find things.
- ImprovementBb Sites·
Premium website directions and appointment sections go live
Solstice, Form and Gather version 3 are the active designs, and the live service menu, next available times and provider directory can be added to websites of venues that take appointments.
- ImprovementBb Sites·
Premium website directions and appointment sections enter review
Solstice, Form and Gather version 3 and four appointment-led website sections are built and reviewable internally; nothing is offered or applied to a website yet.
- New feature·
Treatment records: who can see what
Venues get five separate staff permissions for appointment-linked treatment records (view own, record own, view all, manage, export). A technician sees and records treatments for the appointments they performed; seeing colleagues' records, editing them or exporting records are separate grants a venue gives on purpose. Export is owner-level by default.
- Improvement·
Clearer staff save outcomes
This isolated source candidate improves the existing venue staff profile and photo APIs; it is not deployed or ready for customer handover.
- Improvement·
Public team and service descriptions
Connected Sites team sections and newly generated service-page facts now use the same active, publicly listed provider authority as BookingBible's public provider catalog. A service assignment alone does not authorize publishing a person's identity. Private or suspended memberships and collaboration public-listing withdrawals are respected; unreadable listing or identity information is withheld.
- New feature·
Service image authoring and recovery
Web service editing and the Business-app API companion now share one venue-scoped image writer. Authorized admins with bookings.manage can upload JPG, PNG or WebP (up to5 MiB, at least1200 by675 pixels), then save a16:9 catalog image. Existing service-catalog franchise locks also apply. The writer validates owned original paths and bytes, creates immutable1600/800/400 WebP versions, and compares t
- New feature·
Service assignments and variants: shared administration contracts
This isolated source candidate gives web and Business app clients one server authority for assigning professionals to services and managing duration/price variants. It is not deployed and does not establish full setup parity or Nailtech handover readiness.
- New feature·
Service archive API companion
The Business app's service archive action now has a dedicated staff-JWT API companion: `POST /api/v1/admin/services/{id}/archive`, with an empty JSON object and a required Idempotency-Key. It uses the same organization-scoped archive core as web administration, including permission, franchise-lock, audit/webhook and cache behavior. Existing appointments are retained; this is service deactivation,
- New feature·
Rooms panel floor-plan upload
Venue staff can upload a room floor plan only after the room exists. The form shows pending, saved, error, and unknown states, serializes upload with save/remove, and will not replace a newly finalized URL with a stale text field. Late responses from another room are ignored. Legacy external URLs remain editable. The upload flow does not request client notifications; no live operation was exercise
- ImprovementFeedback·
Separate review schedules and clearer previews
Configure internal and public review schedules independently; a cadence preview does not promise message delivery.
- Improvement·
Room and location image removal
Authorized venue admins can clear a room floor-plan reference through the room setup API. New floor-plan URLs still require the signed upload and finalize flow; a direct URL cannot be attached through room PATCH.
- New feature·
Public appointment team listings
Public venue team listings can include active service providers and instructors, including a delivery capability on another primary role. A generic staff account is not automatically a public professional. The venue's public-listing setting and professional collaboration withdrawals remain authoritative.
- New feature·
Provider working hours: shared administration contract
This isolated source candidate gives web and Business app clients one server authority for provider working-hours rows. It is not deployed and does not establish full setup parity.
- ImprovementStaffAppointmentsSettings·
Staff can record named-booking visibility separately from team listings
This candidate adds two independent choices for venue admins with staff-edit access: whether a team member appears on the public team page, and whether clients may choose them **by name** when a service allows picking a person.
- New feature·
Combined visits: any professional or a named one
When a client books several services as one visit on the Web or embedded booking page, they now choose between any available professional and a person the venue offers by name for every selected service. Any keeps every assigned professional available, including people the venue does not list for named booking, and the venue assigns the professional for the whole visit. Named choice only shows peo
- New feature·
Independent staff listing and booking choices
Local candidate only: this work has not been deployed or published to app stores.
- Improvement·
Business identity saves preserve booking and notification settings
Saving Business identity now changes only the submitted business type and legal setup. It no longer resubmits the page's booking mode or rewrites the venue's settings JSON. Booking-product changes remain deliberate actions in the separate Booking products card, using the existing offering authority and commercial checks.
- ImprovementAppointments·
Clearer booking-offering read and save outcomes
Business details fail safely when current settings cannot be verified, and confirmed offering changes remain distinguishable from uncertain saves.
- ImprovementAppointments·
Shared booking-offering controls for web and Business clients
A scoped API companion uses the existing offering authority and distinguishes saved, refused and unconfirmed changes.
- ImprovementAdminClassesAppointments·
Appointment venues keep class work only while it is still owed
Appointment-only venues no longer see class discovery chrome, but existing class bookings, check-in and history stay available while a product is winding down. Member dashboards show real visits. Public location pages list services, not client appointment diaries.
- Improvement·
Appointment retry recovery
Web member/guest booking and the shared mobile appointment API now recover an already saved matching booking before checking current prices or availability. New bookings still obey the venue's payment requirements and named-staff choices. The venue, client and original booking details remain bound to the retry.
- ImprovementAdminAppointmentsLocations·
Room and location setup foundations
Room and location setup share tenant-scoped web and API validation, with explicit recovery outcomes. Native resource screens and the new upload UI are not yet complete.
- New feature·
Appointment setup: consistent settings and readiness
This source candidate gives web and Business clients a shared appointment-policy API and a read-only check of current setup readiness. It is not deployed; the Business companion is still required.
- Improvement·
Paid appointment recovery
When a client pays online for an appointment on the Web or embedded booking page, the page now keeps an encrypted record of that exact payment attempt before it starts. Refreshing the page, a lost connection or a bank approval redirect offers "Finish payment" for the same attempt instead of starting a second one. Choosing another time after an unclear result first checks with the server that nothi
- New feature·
Appointment payment recovery groundwork
Paid appointment adapters preserve the provider and price held by an existing checkout instead of rereading current venue policy after preparation. They accept an unnamed any-available request and keep retries on the same payment operation. This is local source work, not a live feature announcement.
- ImprovementAppointments·
Shared appointment service setup and clearer save outcomes
Venue-scoped service setup shares validation across web and Business APIs, with clearer saved and uncertain outcomes.
- Improvement·
Appointment booking recovery
The Web and embedded appointment form now retains an encrypted record before submitting a direct booking. If the response is lost, refreshing the page offers the same booking to check instead of starting another one. Contact details and notes are not stored as readable browser text. If recovery storage cannot be verified, the form explains the problem and stops before a new submission.
- Improvement·
Clearer appointment booking checks and retries
Local candidate; not deployed or a Nailtech readiness announcement.
- New feature·
Any available staff uses real appointment availability
The local appointment candidate now chooses Any available staff from the same availability rules used to offer booking times. A person must be assigned to the service, active in the venue and available for that service, option, location and time. Their actual price override is included in the quote.
- New feature·
Admin offering presentation
Venue admin labels, terminology preview, Learning Center first-booking steps, and the main dashboard now follow the venue's current booking mode and product lifecycle instead of craft-only defaults.
- ImprovementPoint of SaleProducts·
Physical inventory returns at POS
Return physically received items against their original POS sale without refunding money or restocking twice. Backend and Business release checks remain separate.
- Bug fixGift CardsPoint of SaleNotifications·
Gift delivery retries keep their recipient and payment history
Sender-enabled source candidate — not a claim of deployment or delivery. Release still requires reviewed migration, old-runtime containment/drain and normal gates. Gift-recipient email/SMS is production-runtime-only; staging, development and unknown deployment identity remain held even if provider credentials exist. This does not turn staging into a sandbox for ordinary or giver notifications.
- ImprovementMembershipsPasses·
Flexible pass location and service selectors are checklists, not typing fields
The Flexible pass editor now shows location and service checklists with an explicit filter, so typing a name never creates a new item.
- Bug fixMembershipsPassesBilling·
Flexible pass publication validation
Flexible drafts retain their gift setting when validated for publication, with saved-draft recovery for unconfirmed publication.
- Bug fixOffersMembershipsReports·
Recurring flash-sale reporting uses the settled introductory payment
New recurring flash-sale acquisitions use the amount actually paid on the original initial invoice, not the normal renewal price. Existing charges and historical redemptions are unchanged.
- Bug fix·
Recurring gift confirmation recovery
Recurring gift confirmation keeps the original saved-card setup and distinguishes giver confirmation from recipient delivery, without collecting another payment.
- Maintenance·
Gift recipient cutover and pause recovery
The durable sender candidate preserves a recipient-only pause and recovery path. Gift value, redemption and ordinary purchase receipts remain available.
- Bug fixBb SitesAi Studio·
BB Sites AI provider failures are now explicit
Website chat now preserves the provider's real failure and clearly identifies when platform provider credits must be restored.
- ImprovementBb Sites·
More flexible website layouts in BB Sites
Add reviewed reusable layouts and improved design-kit compositions while keeping every change in the website draft until an operator publishes it.
- Bug fix·
Expired membership payment windows retain their history
An unfinished membership whose original payment window has irreversibly expired cannot be resumed. Its history remains available, and a verified unused offer reservation can be released without deleting the original attempt.
- Bug fixPoint of SaleProductsBookings·
Register stock stays attached to its payment attempt
This source repair reserves tracked stock before a card payment starts and keeps that reservation during card authentication or uncertain payment recovery. Retrying the same completed cash sale returns its original transaction. Cash, account credit, product course perks and staff benefits—including product carts without tracked stock—and stock changes share the canonical sale-effect transaction, a
- ImprovementCheckoutMemberships·
Resume an unfinished membership payment
Resume an eligible unpaid membership using its original payment and frozen purchase terms.
- Bug fixBb Sites·
Release validation and private website previews
The release candidate strengthens route validation and makes private website previews use supported search-engine exclusion metadata, without changing access or publishing permissions.
- Bug fixPoint of SaleMemberships·
Register payment recovery stays tied to the correct membership
After card confirmation, the register now waits for that exact payment's membership and receipt records. An older pass or payment cannot stand in for a membership that is still being activated. Retrying a completed request returns its existing receipt only when the venue, member and pass still agree. An incomplete projection remains a processing result; staff should retry the same attempt, not cre
- Bug fixPoint of SaleMembershipsPasses·
Native register preserves the reviewed Flexible pass selection
The release candidate preserves the chosen Flexible option and reviewed price in staff register sales, and rejects results from an obsolete venue or account.
- Bug fixMembershipsPasses·
Failed membership setup cleanup keeps promotion records consistent
This repair is a release candidate until migration 20261020000088 completes the required staging and production checks.
- New featurePoint of Sale·
Native register can use the same quick-sale favorites as the desk
Staff using the Booking Bible Business app can now see and pin the same quick-sale favorites already used on the web register.
- Improvement·
Clear recovery when a class roster cannot load
Web check-in shows an explicit error and retry when a roster cannot load, instead of an empty class.
- Improvement·
Easier editing and search in native apps
Native edit dialogs and search result lists are being improved for keyboard use.
