- New feature·
Welcome to Booking Bible
Your new booking platform is live — here is what to expect and where to find things.
- New featureAuth·
Sign in on a TV by scanning a QR code with your phone
Typing an email and password with a TV remote is miserable, so now nobody has to. A TV app can show a QR code and a short 8-letter code instead. Your client scans the QR with their phone (or opens the link and types the short code), approves the sign-in from the account they are already logged into, and the TV signs itself in a few seconds later.
- New featureAi StudioStaffSettings·
Staff can work with Mira privately from Telegram
Owners can connect a staff member to the Booking Bible Telegram assistant with a private, one-time link from **AI Studio → Channels & connections**. Staff who have `ai.conversations.use` can generate their own private installation link from **Staff → AI Assistant**; they cannot create links for somebody else. The link expires after ten minutes, can only be used once, and is bound to the exact acti
- New featureAi StudioStaffSettings·
Mira brings scoped specialists and private channels to AI Studio
AI Studio now gives every venue one general assistant, Mira, plus versioned specialists that can be published for focused work. Owners can grant access by staff role or individual user, then restrict each grant to selected brands, locations, data areas, and actions. A staff member only sees the assistants and records their grant allows. The separate `ai.conversations.use` permission lets owners al
- Bug fixNetworkCollaboratorsMoney·
Collaboration pay now shows the same amount to both sides
Venue compensation is now turned into a visible money statement as soon as a rate is saved or completed work is refreshed. The venue and professional see the same agreement currency, amount before VAT, VAT, and total due. A professional whose own business profile uses another currency will no longer see a venue's DKK agreement relabelled as USD.
- Bug fix·
Catalog data stays with the selected venue
Passes & Pricing and the related catalog pages now consistently show the selected venue's existing data, including for owners and staff who can access more than one venue.
- Bug fixSettingsBookingNetwork·
Settings confirmations now reflect what was actually saved
Health questionnaire, partner network, retention, tips and reviews, and payment processor settings now show a successful save only after the requested venue record was actually updated. If the database rejects a change or no matching venue record is found, the page reports the failure instead of showing “saved.”
- Bug fixStaffSchedulePublic Api·
Each venue controls instructor names on its own schedule
Venue admins can now choose the name an instructor uses on that venue's schedule. The setting is clearly labelled as a venue schedule name and shows how the current venue formats instructor names when no custom name is set.
- Bug fixStaffNetworkNotifications·
Collaboration access notifications report each delivery channel clearly
When you change a collaborator's access and choose Email, SMS, or Push, Booking Bible now attempts exactly those channels. SMS-only notifications no longer depend on the collaborator also having an email address.
- ImprovementAppointmentsPaymentsMobile·
Appointment payment at booking now works in the native app
Venues that require payment when an appointment is booked can now collect the configured full price or deposit securely in the native client app. Clients see the exact amount due before confirming, while pass-covered, free, and pay-at-venue appointments keep their existing booking paths.
- New featureBookingPaymentsNetwork·
Guest payments now stay on the venue website
Venues using their own Booking Bible-powered website can now keep the entire "Bring a guest" payment inside their own design. The guest or inviting member chooses a payment method and pays without being sent to a separate hosted checkout page. Booking Bible still owns the amount, payment routing, capacity check, receipt, accounting entry, and any automatic refund if the last place is gone before p
- New featureAppointmentsFormsInbox·
Clients can now request a booking when you have no open times
Some services do not have a fixed schedule — a bespoke consultation, a by-appointment treatment, or a service a venue is not ready to publish times for. Clients used to have no way to reach out about these from the app at all. Now, when a venue turns on booking inquiries for a service, a client sees an "Inquire" option instead of a dead end. They send their preferred time, a short note, and their
- New featureConsumer ApiDiscoveryMobile App·
Explore now shows how many venues are open today, and clients can contact a venue directly
The consumer app's Explore screen previously showed how many venues could support Classes, Treatments, or Salon in general — even if none of them had anything actually bookable that day. The three world cards now show a live "N open today" count instead, based on the same real same-day activity used to sort venues within each world.
- Bug fixCheck InScheduling·
Check-in no longer shows extra classes on the wrong day
Opening Check-in for a day that had no classes materialized yet could, in a narrow timing window, generate the right class on the wrong calendar date — showing recurring classes a day earlier than scheduled. Those extra rows are gone: on-demand class generation now always creates and matches classes on the venue's actual local day.
- Bug fixScheduling·
Schedule export downloads work reliably again
Exporting the admin schedule to CSV or ICS from a phone or tablet — including inside collaborator/branded-app contexts — now reliably produces a real file download instead of sometimes failing silently. The Export button links directly to an authenticated download endpoint rather than routing the file through a mechanism that some mobile browsers can't turn into a saved file.
- ImprovementSettingsSchedule·
Public schedule display settings are clearer and easier to save
Public schedule display settings are now organized into instructor names, spot counts and urgency, and the optional fuller-appearance controls. Instead of typing technical values, staff choose plain-language options such as **Places remaining** or **Percentage booked**, with the matching unit, explanation, and validation shown beside the threshold.
- Bug fixConsumer ApiDiscoveryBranding·
Venue app icons now appear correctly in consumer discovery
Consumer discovery now receives the square venue icon configured under Business details as its own branding field. The wide venue logo remains available separately, so consumer apps can use the square icon in compact class and venue cards without cropping the logo.
- Bug fixStreamingClassesBookings·
Online class joining works with the current class schedule
Members can once again enter an eligible live online class from connected sites. Joining now reads the class length from its scheduled start and end times, so it stays aligned with the current scheduling model and no longer depends on retired class-type timing data.
- ImprovementTasksAlertsClients·
Tasks, alerts, clients, reports, and settings are easier to navigate
Task settings now live inside **Tasks**, and alert settings now live inside **Alerts**. Each workspace has its own search, plain-language Studio Manager handoff, and exact links to the setting an administrator searched for.
- Bug fixSecuritySettingsAudit Log·
Support access approval is now an explicit, one-time choice
For venues where temporary Booking Bible support access is available, links asking you to approve or deny it now open a real confirmation page for your venue. Simply opening the email — or an email provider checking its links — cannot approve or deny anything. An active venue administrator or manager must sign in and press the confirmation button. The live approval code is removed from the browser
- Bug fixSettingsRoomsPayments·
Settings shortcuts now open the right place
Several shortcuts that previously opened a broad Settings page — or an address that did not exist — now open the page and section named by the shortcut.
- ImprovementAppointmentsServicesCheck In·
Settings start where the work happens
**Settings now start beside the work they change.** Open Gym visit controls now belong in **Check-in → Check-in settings**, rather than being buried in the venue-wide Settings area. Existing bookmarks to the old Open Gym settings address still take you to the new, exact control.
- ImprovementAppointmentsServicesSettings·
Appointment settings now live with Appointments
**Appointment settings are now where you use Appointments.** Open **Appointments → Appointment settings** to choose how frequently available appointment start times appear to clients.
- ImprovementReportsClientsSchedule·
Find each report beside the part of the business it explains
Reports now follow the same simpler structure as Settings. Reports about one area of your venue live beside that work: Client Reports is a tab under Clients, course and workshop reports sit with Courses & Workshops, and the Schedule, Staff, Passes, Products, Promotions, Appointments, Private Sessions, and Maintenance pages each link to their own focused report collection.
- New featureWorkshopsCoursesSchedule·
Double-check workshop dates before they go live
Workshop dates now show the day of the week as soon as you choose them, and course session pickers include the weekday too. This makes it much easier to catch a Monday-versus-Tuesday mistake before saving.
- ImprovementCoursesPaymentsIntegrations·
Accepted course applications now continue into the real course checkout
YogaBible's application wizard now sends accepted teacher-training applicants to BookingBible's native course checkout. The Preparation Phase is a course deposit—not a separate pass—so the payment, remaining balance, receipt, reporting, enrollment, track, and access stages all stay on the same course record.
- New featureSettingsEmails·
Reword any automated email in your own voice
Every automated email can now carry your own wording. Open Client emails & reminders → Automated messages, find a message, and choose "Edit wording". You get two fields: the subject line, and a message in your own voice that appears at the top of the email.
- Bug fixCheck InStaff·
Check-in no longer goes blank when your session hiccups
If your sign-in quietly expired while a page was open — most visibly on check-in, which refreshes itself constantly — the next button you pressed made the screen go white. You had to reload and navigate back, then it happened again on the next click.
- Bug fixNetworkStaff·
Professional collaborations open the right page — and no longer arrive with your client list
Independent professionals you collaborate with were also being listed under Network → **Business partners**, and clicking one opened the venue-to-venue partnership page. That page describes something entirely different, so a teacher collaboration showed up as a "Pay per visit partnership" with a platform fee, a binding period, a notice period and a Pass Access tab — none of which apply to a person
- New featureNetworkStaffBilling·
One place for everything about a professional you work with
Everything about an independent professional you collaborate with now lives on one page, in tabs: **Compensation · Role & access · Data sharing · Money · Contract**. The professional sees the matching view from their own side.
- New featureSettingsEmails·
Edit the wording of far more text messages, and see at a glance what is email and what is a text
Sixteen text messages can now use your own wording, up from six — including class restored, attendance corrected, a refunded fee, account credit added, pass paused and resumed, membership ended, the nine pass-change notices, staff invitations and cover requests. Open Client emails & reminders → Text messages and look for "Wording you can edit".
- ImprovementCoursesWorkshopsPayments·
Courses and workshops now have safer payment, access, and application workflows
Course payment choices are now clearly separated into pay in full, deposit with one later balance, equal installments without a deposit, and deposit followed by balance installments. Automatic card plans require an explicit buyer authorization. When a scheduled card payment needs attention, the client gets a secure link for that exact installment; they can confirm it or replace the card without be
- New featureScheduleCheck InBookings·
Waitlist tools on your roster, honest stream status, and cancellation fixes
**Waitlists are now visible and workable everywhere.** Class cards on the Schedule and Check-in pages show how many people are waiting (for example "5 waitlist"), and every waitlisted client on a roster has an **Add to class** button that moves them straight onto the roster — with a clear confirmation if the class is already full and you want to squeeze them in anyway. You can also select several
- Bug fixScheduleNotifications·
Class edits no longer message clients unless you ask
Editing a single class from its detail page — changing the room, the time, or the teacher — no longer sends anything to booked clients by default. The "Notify affected clients" choice used to come pre-ticked whenever the class had bookings, so a quick room swap (for example while testing streaming) could email everyone on the roster without you choosing to.
- New featureSettingsEmails·
See and control every text message the platform sends
Client emails & reminders has a new Text messages tab showing every SMS the platform can send on your behalf — automatic messages to clients (waitlist promotions, cancellations, schedule changes, fee notices, pass and membership changes and more), operational texts to your team, and the ones you send yourself (bulk SMS, receipts, payment links, campaigns).
- New featureSettingsEmailsBilling·
Write your own text messages, and send the payment link by SMS
You can now change the wording of your text messages. Under Client emails & reminders → Text messages, any message marked "Wording you can edit" opens an editor where you write your own version, drop in details like the client's name or the amount, and see live how many messages it will cost to send — useful, because texts are billed per message and special characters shorten the limit. Until you
- ImprovementCoursesWorkshopsPayments·
Course payment choices and session access are now easier to understand
The Pricing tab now explains four payment choices separately: pay in full, pay a deposit with one later balance, pay equal installments without a deposit, or pay a deposit followed by balance installments. It also shows what each payment milestone unlocks, while keeping the actual access settings in Sessions.
- New featureSettingsEmails·
Booking confirmations and class reminders are editable now, and the Receipts tab tells the truth
Your two highest-volume client emails — the booking confirmation and the class reminder — can now use your own wording. Open Client emails & reminders → Templates, edit "Booking Confirmed" or "Class Reminder", and switch it to Custom wording. Until you make that switch, clients keep receiving the standard rich email (with add-ons, registration notes, and online-class links), so nothing changes unl
- ImprovementCourse Native Commerce Access·
Courses now manage payments and access directly
Courses can now offer full payment, a deposit, installments, or a deposit followed by installments without creating a separate pass. Shareable payment links make it easy to send the exact full, deposit, or balance option to a participant.
- Bug fix·
Course workshops now show where they are edited
Workshop dates reused in a course now appear as clearly shared schedule details instead of disabled form fields. Use **Edit shared workshop schedule** to open the exact Workshop Library occurrence and safely change its date, time, room, teacher, or public visibility.
- Bug fix·
Partial refunds now stay visible in daily sales
Partially and fully refunded payments now remain part of the original gross sales and transaction count. Refunds are shown separately and deducted once, so the net amount reflects the money the venue actually retained.
- Improvement·
Scheduled memberships and course payment edits are more reliable
When staff create a membership that starts later and choose to charge on the start date, BookingBible now creates the scheduled membership without testing or charging the saved card immediately. The first payment follows the normal automatic collection and reminder flow on the selected start date.
- Improvement·
Clearer front-desk sales, refunds, and alerts
Pass and product shortcuts now open the item you selected, check-in sales load eligible passes, receipts can be sent by SMS, and repeated technical alerts are grouped with clear next steps.
